Books By Author Martin Klimke
Nuclear Threats, Nuclear Fear and the Cold War of the 1980s, Hardback (November 2016)
The book brings together cutting-edge scholarship from the United States and Europe to address political and cultural responses to the arms race of the 1980s.
Establishment Responds, Paperback (February 2012)
This volume fills this gap by examining the many ways in which political parties, the business world, foreign policymakers, and the intelligence community experienced, confronted, and even actively contributed to domestic and transnational forms of dissent.
Other Alliance, Paperback (August 2011)
Examines the channels of cooperation between American and West German student movements throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, and the reactions these relationships provoked from the US government. This title demonstrates the strong transnational connections between New Left groups on both sides of the Atlantic.
