Reviews

UK Kirkus Review » Teddy Roosevelt is the first American figure to come under Walker's journalistic scrutiny in this examination of what - and more importantly, who - made America great in the 20th century. Here are 26 movers and shakers, the individuals who came to represent the nation's success: Henry Ford, Duke Ellington, Martin Luther King, Walt Disney, Billy Graham, Katharine Hepburn, John Steinbeck and more. A fascinating way to explain American dominance in the last century by one of journalism's most respected US commentators. (Kirkus UK)
