Conflict Transformation and Social Change in Uganda by Susanne Buckley-Zistel

Book Description

Drawing on the concept of hermeneutics the book argues that the successes and setbacks of conflict transformation in Teso can be understood through analyzing the impact of memory, identity, closure and power on social change and calls for a comprehensive effort of dealing with the past in war-torn societies.

Spatialising Peace and Conflict by Susanne Buckley-Zistel Spatialising Peace and Conflict, Hardback (February 2016)

This volume brings to the fore the spatial dimension of specific places and sites, and assesses how they condition - and are conditioned by - conflict and peace processes. By marrying spatial theories with theories of peace and conflict, the contributors propose a new research agenda to investigate where peace and conflict take place.
