Devon Transport by Gerald Gosling
Book DescriptionTed Gosling has gathered together well over 200 nostalgic images of various modes of transport in his home county of Devon. Horse-drawn transport, railways, trams, coaches, cars and boats are all included, as well as chapters on motor sport and some other more unusual methods of getting from A to B. The transport of yesteryear is predominant here, but Ted brings the story right up to the present-day. Many of the images featured in this book are published for the first time, and "Devon Transport" is sure to be a trip down memory lane for locals, visitors and transport enthusiasts alike.
