GPS Software Library by Guochang Xu
This reference and handbook describes the functional software library of the Global Positioning System (GPS/Galileo). It is the original software source-code of many functions, models, algorithms and tools described in the textbook "GPS - Theory, Algorithms and Applications" written by the same author published by Springer. The software functions are parts of the KSGsoft and MFGsoft programs developed by the author at the GFZ in Potsdam. All the source-code are verified by real GPS data processing applications. The software uses the books "GPS - Theory, Algorithms and Applications" as its theoretical description. The functional library covers physical models, disturbance models, mathematical methods, adjustment and filtering algorithms, the transformation, interpolation, integration methods, and numerous tools.

Looking into the Earth by A.E. Mussett
Comprehensively describes the principles and applications of 'global' and 'exploration' geophysics for introductory/intermediate university students.
North Pole, South Pole by Gillian Turner
North Pole, South Pole is the biography of geomagnetism: the story of a quest that has occupied scientific geniuses throughout the past millennium. This absorbing book explores the inner workings of our planet and its magnetic shield.
Earthquakes and Tsunamis in the Past by Emanuela Guidoboni
An important reference guide to the latest research methodologies for studying historical earthquakes and tsunamis.
Orbits, Paperback (October 2010)
This is the first book of the satellite era which describes orbit theory with analytical solutions of the second order with respect to all possible disturbances. Based on such theory, the algorithms of orbits determination are completely revolutionized. » Have you read this book?
