Combustion by Maximilian Lackner Combustion, Hardback (September 2013)

Combustion, the process of burning, is defined as a chemical reaction between a combustible reactant (the fuel) and an oxidizing agent (such as air) in order to produce heat and in most cases light while new chemical species (e.g. , flue gas components) are formed.

Handbook of Combustion by Maximilian Lackner Handbook of Combustion, Hardback (April 2010)

This five-volume reference work on combustion represents the first complete, in-depth coverage of the field. The contents range from an up-to-date presentation of gas, liquid and solid combustion, via pollutant formation and new technologies to combustion diagnostics and safety.
