Kids love Dogs and dinosaurs so any book that mixes the both is going to go down well.
Dinosaur Hunt This delightful funny novel is about Max who decides to go searching for dinosaurs. So using his vividly active imagination he starts collecting bits and pieces of what most people would call junk and constructs a prehistoric monster.
The book is fantastic for exploring what a creative active imagination can do and will get get kids to create and build similar creations. Wonderfully illustrated in big colourful pictures and the writing flows simply, which allows a new reader to follow along.

David Catrow is the award-winning illustrator of numerous books for children, including the Max Spaniel series, MONSTER MASH, and TAKE ME OUT OF THE BATHTUB AND OTHER SILLY DILLY SONGS. He lives in Springfield, Ohio, with his wife, Debbie, and their dogs.
