Author Biography - Tim Markham
Tim Markham is Reader in Journalism and Media at Birkbeck, University of London, UK. He is author of The Politics of War Reporting: Authority, Authenticity and Morality (Manchester University Press) and co-author of Media Consumption and Public Engagement: Beyond the Presumption of Attention (Palgrave Macmillan). Tim has also published research on social media protest movements, celebrity humanitarianism, the sociology of journalism and media phenomenology.
