Matthew Pearl is the "New York Times" bestselling author of "The Dante Club, The Poe Shadow, ""The Last Dickens, " and "The Technologists, "and the editor of the Modern Library editions of Dante's "Inferno" (translated by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow).
