Author Biography - Bernard Laks
Bernard Laks is Professor of Linguistics at the University of Paris X and the Director there of the CNRS team Modeles, Dynamiques, Corpus. He is the author of Langage et cognition (1996) and Phonologie accentuelle (1997). He has edited a number of books on phonology, including Current Trends in Phonology (1996, with J. Durand). His recent work has been in the area of language from a connectionist perspective.
