Victoria Purcell-Gates is Canada Research Chair in Early Childhood Literacy at the University of British Columbia. Erik Jacobson is Assistant Professor of Education at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Sophie Degener is a research associate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
