Book Description

The Hypnerotomachia Poliphili is one of the most complex books ever written. Coded in seven languages, it is a passionate love story, an intricate mathematical labyrinth and a tale of Renaissance tragedy that has baffled scholars since it was first published in 1499. With his roommate Paul, Tom discovers a long-lost diary that holds the key to the puzzle. But when only hours later a fellow researcher is murdered, the two friends find themselves in great danger, working desperately to break the book's code and uncover a Renaissance tale of passion and blood, a hidden crypt and a secret worth dying to protect-
