Seeing Red by Peter Lancett
Book DescriptionTom Hathaway leads a pretty comfortable life. He's got it all. He's only ever seen at school wearing Prada, Ralph Lauren or Gianfranco Ferre - because then he's a different person - defined by the cut and the cloth - cool and confident. That's how it is when your parents have money and you can have style by the label-load. But then he meets Sylvia and discovers a darker side to life. Increasingly he's drawn to the cut of the flesh rather than the cloth. Seeing Red is a title in the highly contemporary Cutting Edge fiction series for young adults. The series features fast-paced quick reads. Each book focuses on difficult topics and situations that many teenagers will have experienced first-hand or through friends. Cutting Edge is ideal for readers aged 14+ with a reading age of 12+.
