Supramolecular Soft Matter by Takashi Nakanishi

Book Description

This book covers molecular design and synthesis, as well as the development of smart molecular assemblies, for organic electronic systems. It identifies concepts that hold promise for successful development of organic/polymeric electronics with real-world applications. Unlike other books, this is not simply a compilation of current trends in supramolecular soft matter. The chapters, written by leading researchers, help readers understand and manipulate the electronic properties of supramolecular soft materials for use in organic electronic devices, such as photovoltaics and field effect transistors, some of the most desired materials for energy conservation.

Theory of Molecular Fluids by Christopher G. Gray Theory of Molecular Fluids by Christopher G. Gray

Existing texts on liquid theory are limited to simple liquids of spherical molecules, but nearly all liquids of practical interest have molecules that are non-spherical, resulting in more diverse phenomena. This text is the first to provide the molecular theory for such liquids, and describes applications to a wide range of physical properties.

Simple Brownian Diffusion by Daniel Thomas Gillespie Simple Brownian Diffusion by Daniel Thomas Gillespie

Brownian diffusion, the motion of large molecules in a sea of very many much smaller molecules, is topical because it is one of the ways in which biologically important molecules move about inside living cells. This book presents the mathematical physics that underlies the four simplest models of Brownian diffusion.
