Where Does the Trail Lead? by Burton Albert

Book Description

On Summertime island, a boy follows a trail like those many of us remember fondly from summers past, through buttercups and snapdragons, over sand and pine needles, with the smell of the sea always in his nostrils. Brian Pinkney's scratchboard illustrations perfectly complement the lyrical text. Color illustrations.
