Woyzeck by Georg Buchner

Book Description

A shiny red tricycle, a desperate love affair, Elvis, visions of the Devil and a thousand peas - all these merge in this new adaptation of Buchner's classic masterpiece about a poor soldier driven mad by a brutal, unjust society. Originally staged at the Gate Theatre, London, this version of "Woyzeck" opens at St Ann's Warehouse, New York in November 2006.
