The winners of the Romance Writers of Australia Romantic Book of the Year 2008 were announced on the weekend. The long category winner was Kimberley Freeman, with Duet (Hachette Livre), and the short category winner was Anne Oliver with One Night Before Marriage (Harlequin Sexy Sensation).
