Radio host Lynn Freeman, publisher David Elworthy and writer Tim Corballis have been named as judges of the 2008 Montana New Zealand Book Awards. Freeman, who hosts The Arts program on Radio New Zealand National, is convenor of the judging panel. The 2008 awards, which will be announced on 10 June, cover eight categories--fiction; poetry; history; reference and anthology; environment; illustrative; and lifestyle and contemporary culture--and covers books published during the 2007 calendar year.
