ILP auction raises $8000

The recent auction broadcast on 702 ABC Sydney raised $8000 for the Indigenous Literacy Project.

The recent auction broadcast on 702 ABC Sydney raised $8000 for the Indigenous Literacy Project. The winning bidder will receive a large set of signed and limited edition books donated by publishers and authors. ILP project officer Karen Williams reported that the winning bidder ‘had travelled extensively in the outback and thought the idea was just inspiring'. Authors and booksellers involved with the Project were interviewed throughout the week by Deborah Cameron on the station and Williams reported strong support from listeners.
