Illustrator Shaun Tan can add yet another award to his bulging CV, after taking out the Album of the Year prize at Angouleme, France's prestigious comic book festival, for The Arrival (Lothian).
A wordless graphic novel telling the story of a migrant, The Arrival has already received many accolades, including being declared Book of the Year at last year's NSW Premier's Literary Awards, and Picture Book of the Year by the Children's Book Council of Australia.
