National Young Writers' Festival

The National Young Writers' Festival runs from 2 to 6 October in Newcastle, NSW, as part of the This is Not Art (TiNA) Festival.

Published 1 October, 2008

The National Young Writers' Festival runs from 2 to 6 October in Newcastle, NSW, as part of the This is Not Art (TiNA) Festival. Emerging writers, publishers and performers will participate in this 10th year of the festival, through a series of panels, performances, workshops and celebratory events. As the website puts it: ‘Join us to celebrate with bogan stubby-holder poetry, radical new forms of decentred publishing, hyper-nerdy discussion of plot and character development, passionate debates on the cultural and political futures of the country, and some of the best parties you've stumbled across in a long while'. Full program is online here [http://www.youngwritersfestival.org/].
