The most mentioned title this week is David Guterson's soon-to-be-published novel The Other. The book begins in 1970s Seattle where a childhood friendship is forged. Joe Bennett came in at a close second with his book Where Underpants Come from: From Checkout to Cotton Field - Travels Through the New China. Bennett was shopping in his local supermarket in New Zealand where he saw a pair of underpants for under nine dollars.
