Murray Bail's novel The Pages has appeared on the Most Mentioned chart for the third week in a row. Close behind is Sebastian Barry--the celebrated Irish author--with his book The Secret Scriptures. Roseanne, thought to be 100 years old, is the protagonist of the story. She is installed in a mental institution as a young woman, and when the centre is due to close it gives the people around her a reason to look into her past.
