The wait for Peter Costello's memoirs is finally over, but the broo-ha-ha surrounding its release continues. Excerpts from the book, which featured in several weekend papers, impart Costello's view of what happened in the lead-up to the Howard Government's defeat in the 2007 election. The book also promises to flesh out Costello's part in paying off Government debt, introducing the GST and fighting five elections.
