See Me Move is a board book for ages up to three. It is, as books for this age range should be, very colourful and bright. It shows numerous toddlers and babies wriggling, rolling, stumbling and everything in between. On each page the child is accompanied by a furry blue monkey imitating what they are doing, which is quite cute. The children are from various backgrounds and look like they’re having a lot of fun, except when they fall over--but Dad is at hand to make things better. The addition of photos instead of illustrations makes this book stand out as the images are realistic and kids will be able to relate to them. Author Sascha Hutchinson has worked as a senior library assistant (children’s) in the past and has aptly targeted kids’ love of rhyming: ‘I can crawl, wriggle and squirm. I can twist, roll and turn’. See Me Move will delight any child who is at the stage where they want to explore every nook and cranny and will try to get there any way possible!
