Book Review: Big Red Bath by Julia Jarman - Reviewed by (21 Sep 2011)

This book is fun fun fun. The imaginations of the children Ben & Bella find them with an outrageous list of surprising guests in their evening bubble bath, each one of the toy visitors wreaking their own piece of bathroom havoc.

The text rolls along with natural rhythm and rhyme. It flows so well, that you have to remember to stop to talk about illustrations with the child - or you would otherwise race effortlessly through the prose.

The Big Blue Train, also by Jarman & Reynolds, is a superior story, but if you already have The Big Blue Train then The Big Red Bath will be a welcome addition to your book collection
