Reviews

US Kirkus Review » Agatha Troy, as a guest of the Ancreds, the British Barrymores, witnesses the best of all the Ancred performances- if unrehearsed- as a murder is committed, and family curdles are momentarily forgotten in concentrating on the conviction of a woman of ill-repute and a bad actress. Her murder brings in Chief Inspector Alleyn who before long overcomes obstacles, bays the murderer. Clever, caricatural, this provides many mental moments of entertainment. (Kirkus Reviews)
