Book Review: Dirty Joe, the Pirate by Bill Harley - Reviewed by Sheepcoate (17 Sep 2012)
A good test of a kids books is to read it to my son after a a full day of playing and when he hasn’t had a sleep, id its good he will stay awake, bad he will nod off.
This book excelled, not only did my son stay awake, we both had a good laugh at the amusing dialog and subject matter.
The book flowed brilliantly with lovely rhyming dialect. The book is about Dirty Joe, who raids ships for dirty socks. Until one day he meets his match.
Without spoiling the book, its hilarious and one I will re-read many a time.
