Exuberantly coloured artwork and favourite animals make this rhythmic story the perfect introduction to looking and learning about colours. Each spread leads seamlessly into the next and young children will delight in Eric's colourful collage animals and simple repetitive language.

Book Review: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Eric Carle - Reviewed by cjs (27 Jul 2011)
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see was purchased for my two year old by a family member. Having never read the story I was interested to see what was so good about this well known picture book.
The book has a simple easy to follow storyline that allows young children to become engaged and helps them to learn to read.
As the story is easy to remember with a repetitive nature, children from a young age will be able to read along and also learn animal recognition.
My daughter often sat by herself reading the story for all to hear.
