Now part of the family, Tumblerum watches Okay grow up and saves her life when a tree falls on her during a storm. Eventually Okay marries and Tumblerum hatches her eggs. They all live happily under the mishmash trees.

Author Biography - Dick King-Smith

Dick King-Smith has been a farmer and a teacher. He still lives in Gloucestershire, where he was born. He is the author of THE SHEEP-PIG, winner of the Guardian Award and the book which inspired the blockbuster film, BABE. He was voted Children's Author of the Year in 1991, and is one of the best-loved children's authors of today.
