Book Review: Diary of a Wimpy Kid - A Novel in Cartoons by Jeff Kinney - Reviewed by (17 Jan 2012)

This is a charming start to a typical 'tween' rite of passage series. OK so it is kind of cringe worthy but that is probably why we love it anyway. It has all the characters you recognise from your school days and your siblings too. It also has some excellent characatures of your best and worst teachers!

A light hearted look at how silly kids can be and how they will always find creative ways to pick on each other. It is guaranteed to have you hooked on the series for the duration.

The movies are not bad but really as usual the book is the best.
