Aidan Smith has lived in Edinburgh all his life, and is currently Senior Feature Writer of Scotland on Sunday. He is the author of one previous book - Heartfelt- Supping Bovril from the Devil's Cup - which Irvine Welsh called 'the best book I've ever read about football'.
