Author Biography - Jennie Batchelor
JENNIE BATCHELOR is Lecturer in English at the University of Kent, UK. She is the author of Dress, Distress and Desire: Clothing and the Body in Eighteenth-Century Literature (2005) and co-editor of British Women's Writing in the Long Eighteenth Century: Authorship, Politics and History (2005, with Cora Kaplan). With Cora Kaplan, she is general editor of the forthcoming Palgrave Macmillan series The History of British Women's Writing.
