Author Biography - Penelope Ody
Penelope Ody has a degree in chemistry, and a post-graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cambridge. She has studied herbal and traditional Chinese medicine, is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and a fellow of the Herb Society. For ten years ran her own private herbal consultancy. Editor for six years of the Herb society's journal Herbs, she continues to contribute to numerous publications worldwide and is the author of twelve other books on herbal medicine, including Sage, also published by Souvenir Press in this series. Her herb garden was featured on BBC TV's Gardener's World.
