Praying the Scriptures for Your Children is both a "how-to" book and a "feel-good" book of encouraging stories that mothers can use to learn how to pray scripturally for their children. Each chapter focuses on a particular "need" children have, from wisdom and protection to developing specific character traits and strong sibling relationships. Praying the Scriptures for Your Children offers help for mothers who want to get beyond "God bless Johnny" into deeper and more specific needs. It presents scripture-based prayers and prayer principles arranged around ten key life "needs" of children, and includes ideas for using biblical characters to pray for your children. Full of heartwarming true stories of answered prayer and meaningful "prayers you can use," this encouraging guide helps mothers pray with confidence, knowing their prayers come directly from God's Word. Whether during devotions, with a prayer group, or simply while waiting in the carpool line, moms will learn to intercede for their children with a richness and depth anchored in God's Word and his will.
