Description - Superphonics Spelling by Ruth Miskin
"Superphonics Spelling" aims to teach children to spell accurately and confidently, using a method developed by phonics expert Ruth Miskin. The text introduces the simplest spelling for each sound (for example ee as in keep), then looks at alternative spellings for the sounds (for example ea as in bead), followed by root words and word endings and more difficult spellings. There is a "Useful Words" unit at the back of the book which focuses on groups of words which are frequently needed but difficult to spell.
