Book Review: Eldest by Christopher Paolini - Reviewed by Brekalilly (13 Jul 2011)
A wonderful second installment in the Inheritance Cycle! As with the first book, I couldn't put it down! There are wonderful twists and turns in this book and I love that you are following a journey that has so many interconnecting parts and characters. You read a chapter in one location with one set of characters and the next chapter sees you in another location with a different set of characters and concurrent events. The only problem is, you can't decide whether you want to know what's happening to those characters, or the ones you left in the last chapter!! Fantastic action, imagination, characters and story as you would expect from Christopher Paolini given his wonderful work on the first book. I only wonder, when he finishes this cycle, what will he do next? And could it possibly be as good as this??
