A chronicle of life and death in the Jewish ghetto of Kovno, Lithuania, from 1941 to 1944, written under conditions of extreme danger by the author who was a ghetto inmate. The diary was entrusted to leaders of the Escape movement after the war and eventually made its way to his new home in Israel.
