"The Fourteenth Summer of Angus Jack is a classic adventure mystery which skilfully weaves Norse myth into a tale that is fresh and utterly compelling."
I received this book as a birthday present. When I first got it I thought "This is going to be the worst book." I kept telling my Mum that this book is only for boys. But when I was bored and started reading it, I quickly changed my mind.
I loved the character of Angus. Sometimes he can be quite stupid, which made me cringe. Martha is a quiet and sensitive girl with a smart personality. I liked her, but I kinda disliked her when she got all cheesy.
This is an awesome, funny, scary and adventurous book. I recommend it to adventure story lovers! 5 stars
