Book Review: Venus Envy by Louise Bagshawe - Reviewed by Lani (08 Oct 2010)
This book was so good, I have noted down all other books by this author and am slowly making my way through the list! 'Venus Envy' is the embodiment of all things rom-com. And yet, the characters and plot are all so believable. It's similar to Bridget Jones's Diary, but so much better! The main character's inner monologue does go off on random tangents occasionally, but they are so hilarious that you don't mind at all. Everyone knows characters like these ones, and everyone (well, every woman) has been in situations like these - you have so much empathy for Alex!
This book is funny, fantastically addictive and definately for repeated readings. Five stars!!
