Mike Schlafer is a long-time rail photographer and the author of several books on North American Railroads and motive power. Brian Solomon is one of today's most accomplished railway historians. He has authored more than 30 books on railroads and writers for Trains, Railway Age, Passenger Train Journal, and Rail News.
