Dr. Susan Anderson Swedo is a pediatrician, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the head of behavioral pediatrics at the National Institute ofMental Health (NIMH). She lives near Washington, D.C., with her husband and three daughters. Dr. Henrietta L.
