Description - The Leader's Edge by Charles J. Palus
The challenges faced by organizations today are increasingly complex and unprecedented. To many people, such challenges seem insurmountable; and they may well be - if they are faced using only traditional leadership, management and technical competencies. This text from the Centre for Creative Leadership addresses what it takes to lead in today's complex, volatile and multi-dimensional business environment. By using the six competencies outlined in this book - paying attention, personalizing, imaging, serious play, collaborative inquiry and crafting - leaders can help their organizations survive and thrive.
