After the shocking family ties discovered at the end of City of Bones, City of Ashes follows on the adventure to try and save Clary's mum and stop her newly discovered evil mastermind father.
Whoa - this book was fantastic! So much action going on. We learn so much more about all the characters. I can't believe what Simon becomes! and why is Clary so gifted.
Clary and the gang need to find a way to get her mother out of a coma while saving the day as her father is trying to collect the mortal instruments to act out his plans.
Okay book number 2 leaves you wanting so much more, and all I can say is thank the Angel that I started reading these onces book 3 was out!
