Not all dreams are sweet. For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody- notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime. Book Review: Wake by Lisa McMann - Reviewed by Mystrez (22 Jun 2011)
I really enjoyed this book. It was a little creepy, a little suspensful and very entertaining.
Janie is someone who can see into other people's dreams. She has been able to do this since she was eight and it's not something she can control.
This ability causes her to see the deepest darkest secrets of many people around her who she knows, and others that she doesnt.
Without giving spoilers away, she learns much more about her "power" as the book progresses and also much more about life and the life of others around her.
I look forward to reading the sequel "Fade".
