Author Biography - Richard Misrach
Richard Misrach's photographs are in the collections of over fifty major institutions world-wide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London and the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and have appeared in several award-winning art books, including Desert Cantos, Crimes and Splendors: The Desert Cantos of Richard Misrach and Richard Misrach: Golden Gate. He is the recipient of four National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships and the PEN Literary Award, among others. Weston Naef is the Curator of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum, and author of several books, including Era of Exploration, The Collection of Alfred Steiglitz and The Truthful Lens. Navjotika Kumar is currently working on her doctorate with Hal Foster.
