Book Review: Food for Life - Friendly Food by Loblay - Reviewed by Katrinavv (03 Nov 2009)
This book is a life-saver for someone with food intolerances. I've made a dozen recipes from it, and they've all worked really well. When you can't eat any pre-prepared food, this has everything in it- breakfast, light-meals, breads and baking, as well as full meals and desserts, and a section on kids parties. Even though the flavour is less than we're used to, my husband (who doesn't have food intolerances) has been happy to eat the meals and treats that I've made. The recipes are reasonably simple, given that everything has to be made from scratch. There are also recipes for basics like stock and mayonnaise, so you don't feel like you're missing out on everyday food.
