Author Biography - Nicola Cortese

Nicola Cortese was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1961 to Italian-Irish parents. He began AFV modelling in the late-1990s. Sam Dwyer specialises in armour modelling. He has been building plastic models for over 25 years, his first being a Matchbox 1/72-scale Lancaster Bomber he 'helped' his father with at the tender age of 5. Graeme Davidson is a serving officer in the Canadian Army; has been an active modeller for over 20 years:; and is a regular contributor to the galleries. Andrew Dextras began modelling in 1997 and is the founder of the website.
