There was once a cow, who was always miserable; and a lamb who tried to cheer her up. But the cow was impossible to cheer up! Even Father Christmas was too jolly for her. The poor lamb burst into tears himself, and wallowed in misery. Finally the cow started to miss him, and gave him the best birthday present ever - a great big grin!

Book Review: Misery Moo by Jeanne Willis - Reviewed by Sheepcoate (21 Oct 2013)
Misery Moo is an interesting book and one with a cute ending and possibly a hidden message.
Poor old Moo he was always sad and miserable, he only had one friend, little lamb, however despite lambs efforts to cheer up Moo he could never succeed. His birthday we was miserable, he was miserable with his view and even on Christmas he was miserable despite Father Christmas and his attempts to cheer him up.
Overall a cute book although not really that amusing. The illustrations were the high point of the book, all bright and colorful and quite detailed. Worth a read.
