Description - Beyond Terror by Chris Abbott
Current governmental policies (especially in America and Britain) assume international terrorism to be the greatest threat to global security, and attempt to maintain the status quo by using military force. Furthermore, this 'war' is distracting governments from the real threats that humanity faces from- Climate change ompetition over resources arginalisation of the third and second worlds by the first lobal militarisation Unless urgent coordinated action is taken on these issues within the next five to ten years, they argue, it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to avoid our world turning into a highly unstable place by the middle years of this century.
